These simple demonstrations show some of the features that can be included in a website. These demonstrations do not, and are not intended to, indicate the full potential of active programming. Check out the Website Gallery to see live implementations of these techniques.

Guest Pages Guest Books and Comments Pages are a useful way to engage your visitors in open conversations about your web pages. In this example, the comments made are added to a table of previous comments.
ODBC Databases This is an example of how PERL can access databases, and other information sources, through the 32-bit ODBC data connection system. Direct connection can be made to Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel files.
Cookie Jar It is possible to save information about you in the browser that you are using. This information can then be used on future visits to this site without having to enter your details again. These bits of information are known as 'Cookies'. It enables the Server to continue from where it left off the last time you visited.
