When someone fills in a form on your webpage you will want to know quickly what they are requesting. An active script can be used to send you the details by e-mail and make a reply to the browser. The information sent back to the browser can be changed according to the information on the form. The information available does not only include the data on the form, but also details of the environment under which the browser and server are operating.
